60th Birthday Celebration
April 16, 2004.
A ceremony was held aboard the Battleship with sailors from the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt
(CVN-71) manning the rails. Attending this ceremony were,
Sen. John Warner (R-Va).
Congressmen Ed Schrock and Bobby Scott,
Paul Fraim, mayor of Norfolk and Carl Capestrain, president of the
USS WISCONSIN Association.
Hosting this affair was
Rear Adm. Stephen Turcotte, commander of the Navy's       mid-Atlantic Region.
 The Paris Pipe Band, Ontario, Canada performed during the ceremony as did the Atlantic Fleet Band.
