REUNION HAPPENINGS

There will a reception hosted by The Wisconsin Navy League to be held on Thursday September 9th, 2010 in the hospitality room at the Olympia Resort during our reunion stay. They will be presenting to us a Quarterdeck mat and some photos from several league members. They are looking FORWARD to meet all of us and welcoming us to Wisconsin.

1953 Norfolk, VA Aug. 4th – Sept. 9th 
1954 At Sea Aug. 11th – Aug. 26th

1955 At Sea Aug. 9th  – Aug. 25th

1956 Portsmouth, VA May 14th – Bow replacement. (Collision}
My personal log ended when I was transferred off the ship on June 20, 1956 to be discharged

Frank Curran, E Division 1955-1957 has informed us that his wife Christel, has been diagnosed with lug cancer and was to start treatment on Aug 10th.

An encouragement email to Christel and Frank would be nice.      

        

Christel, our prayers for a speedy recovery.
