Dear Vicki& Bud,
To let you know why you haven't heard from me.
Got your picture card today, it is nice, as always glad to get it.
I was in the hospital 28 days in Sept. I had 2 strokes, gallbladder busted when they went in, gangrene had set in, had me open so long cleaning me out I lost lot of blood, had to give me 2 pints, then I got Pneumonia, veins kept blowing from the IV's they had to put a pick line in and I got a blood clot from that. My life was touch and go for a while. I had speech therapy, physical therapy for the strokes, and you can't tell I had a stroke.
Got home then 8 days later I fell down basement stairs and broke my hip, so I had a complete hip replacement, I am walking with a walker and walking a little without it. Was in hospital 29 days this time..

MESSAGE FROM MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Please check the mailing label on your April Badger. If it reads "This Is Your Last Badger" and you have not paid your 2007 dues then you have been dropped from the Associations roster. In order to be reinstated you must fill out another application and mail it with your dues check to the address indicated.
While we are on the subject of dues, if you pay your 2008 dues before 12/31/07 they are still only
$15.00.  Starting January 1, 2008 our dues will be $20.00 a year. Now is the time to pay for 2008 or even through 2010 and save $15.00.  Make checks payable to USS Wisconsin Association and mail them to:
