On This Day, May 15th

1953   New York City, Pier 88 May 15th, to May 18th

1954   Norfolk, VA. May 4th, to July 12th

1955   Norfolk, VA. May 13th, to May 19th

1956   Portsmouth, VA. May 14 to -------

Bow of USS Kentucky BB-66 was used to replace the damaged bow of the USS Wisconsin. I was transferred to Base on June 20 and Discharged on June 21. The ship was still in Portsmouth at that time.

Hi Everyone:

 

This is our 4th grandchild.  She was born yesterday (May 12) at 10:48 am. She weighs 7 lbs 6 oz and is 20 in long.

Momma, Daddy, Baylee (big sister, age 16 mos) and McKensey are all fine.  We expect them to be released first thing tomorrow.

As you can see from the photo, Mamaw and Papaw are ready to start spoiling her!

If you have any suggestions concerning the 2010 reunion, ie tours, other activities, etc., please send them to me at bb64members@aol.com.  There will be a meeting the last week of September in Oconomowoc so we can firm up the reunion details.  This is your chance to be heard and make suggestions on what you would like to do at the reunion.
