REUNION 2010 INFORMATION
![]()
Our reunion committee spent a few days in Oconomowoc, WI.,
finalizing the planning for our September reunion.
Following is an additional letter about their progress.
Next week’s Newsletter will have additional committee letters.
From Our Treasurer; John
Fox
I was asked to report on my visit to
Oconomowoc. I enjoyed it so much I can even pronounce and spell it
without having to think about it!
When I got close to the area, I was looking for signs to the
resort. I was in town (but never saw a sign) when I stopped to seek
directions (... go to that light, take a left and it will be on the right
behind the two big pine trees ...). The resort has to be inside city
limits. The resort is well laid out to host our reunion. Its lobby is
very welcoming and inviting; you just want to sit and relax. My room was
spacious and comfortable. Best of all, the golf course is only a chip
shot away!
The town itself is quite charming. If you plan to drive, you will be
pleasantly surprised by this scenic area, and I can confirm without a doubt,
the town folk will be pleasant to talk with. Look in the Badger for
suggested routes to make the driving experience one to remember.
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip including our planning session and look forward
to returning for our reunion in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
John Fox
Treasurer
