1952 My personal log starts when I came aboard Dec. 22, 1952
1953 Kobe, Japan Oct. 20th – Oct. 23rd.  At Sea to join Task Force 77 Oct. 24th – Oct.25th
         Sasebo, Japan Oct. 26th – Nov.7th
1954 At Sea Oct. 20th – Nov. 3rd

1955 Brooklyn Navy Yard Oct. 18th – Dec. 9th  

1956 Portsmouth, VA May 14th – Bow replacement. (Collision}
My personal log ended when I was transferred off the ship on June 20, 1956 to be discharged

A sad email from Charles & Verna Dee Beck, SS Division 1950-1953 that their youngest
daughter, Tanja, passed away on October 13th.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the Beck family in this time of grief.
