1952 My personal log starts when I came aboard Dec. 22, 1952
1953 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil June 27th  to  July 5th  
1954 Norfolk, VA. May 4th – July 12th   
1955 Norfolk, VA. May 24- July 11th    

1956 Portsmouth, VA May 14th – Bow replacement. (Collision}
My personal log ended when I was transferred off the ship on June 20, 1956 to be discharged.

SICK BAY

Received the following email from Jack Trimmer, 3rd Division 1951-1952

My wife Larue Trimmer has acute lymphoblastic leukemia and will be 
going back to Hackensack hospital.  She is not doing well at the 
present time.  Anyone who wants to send a get well card or cards of any 
kind, can send them to my address at 127 W. Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882,
  as I visit her once a week.
