A MESSAGE FROM OUR MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
If your label reads “THIS
IS YOUR LAST BADGER”, it means that your membership expires before the next
issue of the Badger
Since not all
memberships expire in December, please look at your membership card to
determine your membership expiration date.
Since we used bulk mail for the December Badger to save money on
postage, every issue has a dues envelope.
So please check your label since some members pay their dues up to 3
years at a time.
The new bylaws state that any member whose dues are more than 30
days past due will be removed from the roster so please mail your dues
today. If you are an active duty member,
you need to confirm your mailing address and active duty status with me so that
you can receive your new membership card.
Last year several Badgers were returned to me because several active
duty members either retired and moved or got orders and failed to notify me of
the change.
If you do not notify me or leave a forwarding address with the
post office, your Badger will be returned to me as undeliverable and you will
be removed from the mailing list since we cannot keep sending mail out that is
returned.

SICKBAY UPDATE
Received the following from Vicki Fournier,
update on Bill Frost
I had a note from
Kathy last evening and Bill will have a needle biopsy for the spot on his
lung they did a scope of some sort but it was inconclusive....He is
transferring his records from the VA to St. Rphaels...and
they will start the treatment on his prostate immediately. He has a CT scan
today for that to see if it has spread

USS WISCONSIN 10TH BI-ANNUAL
CRUISE
Even though we will have a short article on our next cruise in the Badger, I
thought I might remind members that deadlines for signing up are getting
closer. Our cruise on Carnival Glory will sail from Port Canaveral on the
