WISCONSIN
ARTICLE ON FACEBOOK
|
Bill Bartel
of the Virginian Pilot, left me a phone message to call him, this was on
Dec.15th. When I called him, he told me he was writing an article about
the art work that’s on the Wisconsin and if I knew who the artists were. I
told him the only artist I knew were the two crew members that painted the
mural in the ladies bathroom on the main deck. He said he knew who they were
and was interested in who did the rest of the artwork. Even though I could not help him,
we had a nice conversation about the ship and the artwork. If any of our third generation crew
members who reads this newsletter, if you happen to know the names of the
other Wisconsin artists, please email me at , dombb64@ptd.net , thanks. The following link was found on facebook by my daughter Donna. My two daughters, Debbie and Donna are
always on the lookout for news about their dad’s ship. |
