OF INTEREST (From last Weeks Newsletter)

Those of you that are into Facebook should check out the Facebook page, “I Served On USS Wisconsin BB-64” It’s my understanding that a lot of the 3rd generation crew members are responding and posting photos to this page. LaDonna and Tom Bradshaw have been posting information pertaining to our 2012 reunion, weekly newsletter, etc.
REMINDER (From Last Weeks Newsletter)
If you have not paid your dues you will notice that the “M” has been removed next to your name on our website members list. This also means that your name has been deleted from the associations’ membership roster. You can resubmit an application, pay your dues and you will be reinstated.
Don’t forget, only association members get free admission to Nauticus.
As an additional note to this reminder, replacement membership cards will cost $5.00 each.

On May 28, 2011, Keith Mullen of “BaD Ship Models"

” presented his 1/96 scale model of the Battleship USS Wisconsin BB-64 to Nauticus. When you visit Nauticus be sure to see this almost 10 foot long model of our ship on the third floor. When you look at this model you don’t have to wonder what the real ship looks like, just look out the large windows and there is the real ship.
Keith, of the 4 Iowa class Battleships to choose from, thanks for choosing to build a model of the Wisconsin.
I’m sure you have made our former crew members from the 1940’s, 1950’s and 1980’s-1990’s very happy.
