1952 My personal log starts when I came aboard Dec. 22, 1952
1953 Newport, RI  May 3rd – May 14th  

1954 Norfolk, VA. May 4th – July 12th   
1955 At Sea  May 9th – May 13th

1956 Norfolk, VA May 7th – May 14th
My personal log ended when I was transferred off the ship on June 20, 1956 to be discharged.

Hi everyone - just wanted to let you all know that Joe has been in St. Francis Hospital in Hartford in the cardiac ICU.  He had heart surgery about 3 weeks ago and is having a difficult time recovering.  We will give you updates periodically.  Thanks.
