USS
WISCONSIN RADIO CLUB
My name is Sal Yorks and I am currently president of the USS Wisconsin
Radio Club.
While I was not in service, I recognize
the role of the Wisconsin in helping to keep our freedom over the years.
We at the Radio Club are looking forward to putting the Communications Center
(Radio Room) on display to the public and getting a permanent installation and
station working on the ship.
We would also
appreciate hearing from any of the communications specialists that are part of
your association and worked the Communications Center during their
deployment(s). This opportunity has been a very long time in the works, now
we just have to make the best effort to present her as she really stood for our
rights.
Thank you, and our best wishes for a very fruitful New
Year 2010!
Respectfully,
Salvatore Yorks
