Sickbay Updates

Brenda Miller emailed the following

Hello All,

 

Last Tuesday Cal had a CT scan done with the doctor's appointment today.  He also had his labs drawn today. His white count is still a  low, but his H & H has improved.  So that is a mixed blessing.

His CT scan was basically the same as the last two scans which means what is there is not growing or spreading which is a good thing.   

So considering everything, today's appointment went well.

Bud Fourney’s surgery has been postponed once again.  New date is now  March 12th.  Vickie asks that we continue to keep him in our prayers.

Dues

There are still over 100 members who have not paid their dues for 2007.   We ask you to please get those dues in as soon as possible.  We need each and every crewmember to stay active and keep our Association going.  If you look at how many crewmembers that have passed away in the past few months, you have to realize how quickly our numbers are dwindling.  Without your membership this Association will cease to exist. For what it’s worth, the USS IOWA has 3000+ members.  We have 1224.  Wouldn’t it be great if we could meet the Iowa’s number half way.    1500 sounds like a good number to me.
