Received word from Dave Patrykus
about Gene Biesecker, FA Div. 1953-1954 Gene underwent bypass surgery on Wednesday. Waiting for an update. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Received this email from Vicki Fourney today. We had the follow-up appt. today at MCV..and Bud had a good report.
The DR is pleased with his healing....and said it will take a while as the
tumor was way up under his diaphragm and so there was a lot of extra cutting
of muscle tissue...etc....He felt Bud looked really good..and said he will get his appetite back in time
and put back some weight. He said the rest of his liver looked really good
when they were in there and he may even have a glass of wine if he feels like
it. He will see him again in 3 months
unless we feel he needs something. He needs NO treatments as the rest of the
tissue samples came back Neg. We had a nice trip up to Thanks so much to all of you for your
prayers. We know that is what got us both through all of this. The recovery
is a slow process but we were thrilled to hear that ALL is WELL!!
Big HUGS to all xo V&B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Also received a note from Neysa Peterson.
Jim will not be renewing his membership. Neysa said that
Jim has frontotemoral degeneration (an alzheimer’s like condition) and has lost his memory
regarding much of his life. Our prayers are with you both. Addresses and phones numbers available on request.
