This cruise was our Association’s 10th and it was fitting that we sailed from the same port as we did on board the Carnival Fantasy for our very first cruise.  This time we boarded the Carnival Glory, a larger Carnival ship for our Caribbean Cruise.  Twice before we had signed up to go to the Eastern Caribbean but ended up on the Western itinerary due to Hurricanes.  Going in April we eliminated that probability.  All of the Wisconsin Group ate at early dining this cruise which brought us all together for the evening meal.  The weather was great except for one day of rough seas..  We had Captain Salvatore Rossello join us for our Cocktail Party and presented him with a Wisconsin Scrambled Eggs Baseball Cap.  He appreciated the gift and thanked us all for our service and stated that we had definitely sailed on a beautiful ship when we were on the Wisconsin.   Vice President Ridings spoke a few words and our Chaplain, Bob Simpson spoke of the work that Lil Menta had done for the association and therefore this cruise was dedicated to her memory.  All got back home safe and sound and all appeared to have enjoyed the cruise ports and had a good time.

A job well done and many thanks to Claire and Dick Hamann for their time and effort in putting together another successful cruise.  You did it again CHIEF!

My thanks to Bob Simpson,  Bill Humienny and Andy Bouchonville for sharing their cruise photos . Bill served on our sister ship, the USS Iowa and has been on several of our cruises.
