Veterans Cruise Veterans Cruise– May 28, 1991- Pier 5 Norfolk, Va. 189 Association Members boarded the Wisconsin for a ride into the past. We cruised for 2 days to Earle, N.J. where the Wisconsin off loaded her ammunition prior to decommissioning. During her 2 days at sea she put on a spectacular 16″ gun firing display for us.

14th Reunion– July 6-12, 2014 Loews New Orleans Hotel New Orleans, Louisiana Approximately 160 people consisting of former crew members, associate members, families and friends attended this reunion and banquet.

15th Reunion July 18-24, 2016 Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel Norfolk, Virginia. Approximately 283 former crew members, associate members, family and friends attended this reunion. Following are the other numbers: Tuesday: Welcome Buffet Dinner:46. Wednesday: Work day aboard the ship was attended by 19 former crew and family members. Thursday: 89 went on the Naval Base tour and 111 were on the Dinner Cruise. Friday: We had 6 for golf. Friday evening: 262 were at the Fantail Cookout and 195 attended the Ice Cream Social after the cookout. Saturday morning: 132 attended the Memorial services. Saturday evening Banquet dinner was attended by 224 people.

16th Reunion September 19-24, 2018 Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel Norfolk, Virginia. Approximately 220 former crew members, associate members, family and friends attended this reunion. Friday evening: We had a great Fantail Cookout. Food was so much better than we had in 2016.
Let’s repeat this menu for our next reunion. Ice Cream Social after the cookout was very refreshing and the end to a perfect evening. Saturday morning: Our Memorial services was held in Nauticus. Several family members were in attendance to place the flower in the memorial wreath. Saturday evening: Banquet dinner was attended by approximately180 former crew members,
associate members, family and friends.
